He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wiedecker and Louise Wiedecker; his siblings, Charles and Catherine Ciaffulo; his former wife Jean; and his stepson Jeff Westra.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Westra; his children, Daniel J. Wiedecker of San Diego, CA and Sue Vande Kamp of Tea, SD; his stepson Chad Westra; and his grandchildren, Ryan Johnson, Tyler, Alex, Abbie, Josh Westra and Jessica Mayles.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church.
