He is survived by: his daughters, Tiffani Renken (Dustin) of Crooks and Tara Menzia of Aberdeen; his grandchildren, Deven Alexnader, Kaleb Alexander, Peyton Turner, Morgan Renken, MacKenzie Gerth, Hannah Menzia, Kalleigh Menzia and Rylie Gehring; his brother Richard Schmahl; his nephew Matt Schmahl (Jessica); and his niece Ashley Lechner (Grasen).
