He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Engen and Bertha Engen (Rude). He is survived by: his wife Karen Rothenbuehler of Sioux Falls, SD; his daughter Kristine "Kris" Thoman (Ralph) of Lakeville, MN; and his siblings, David Engen (Sharon) of Oconomowac, WI and Beulah Wieland (Willie) of Alcester, SD. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Sanford Hospice.
