He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Dude; his stepfather Glenn Intermill (Shorty); and his siblings, James "Jim", Eugene "Cots", Carlyle "Fritz", Shirley Hovey, Donna Lou and Donald Leon Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Coral; his children, Teresa Miller (Allen) of Sioux Falls, SD, Kim Farr (Darren) of Sioux Falls, SD and Jeff Olson of Sioux Falls, SD; and his brothers, Devon Olson (Noel) of Walnut Creek, CA, Bill Intermill (Pat) and Lake. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
