He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Koch and Sarah Viola Koch; his wife Lorna Cassem; and his siblings-in-law, Dick Cassem, Avis Cassem and Carolyn Koch.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Koch (Judy), Mark Koch (Jane), Cynthia Francis, Constance Klinkhammer-Berg, Cathleen Zepeda, Mike Koch (Barb), Randy Koch (Vickie) and Carrie Vilhauer; his brother Dayton Koch; his nephew David Koch; and his niece Melissa Koch-Metz. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
