We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2023, at the age of 91, Douglas Arthur Thoelke of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Brookings, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Thoelke and Stella Thoelke; his wife Jan of Alcester, SD.; his brother Richard Thoelke; and his granddaughter Megan Thoelke.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Thoelke (Debra) of Sioux Falls, Brent Thoelke (Kirsten) of Sioux Falls and Brad Thoelke (Elizabeth) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many special nieces, nephews, and relatives.
Memorials may be directed to the Dementia Society of America or Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
