She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Severson and Gertie Severson (Studstahl); her husband Lawrence McKenney; and her siblings, Mavis Fossum, Donald and Gordon Severson.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Gardner (Sherm) of Canton, SD, Larry Jr. McKenney of Inwood, IA, Deb Kroger (Sam) of Inwood, IA, Randy McKenney (Lisa) of Inwood, IA and Ronnie McKenney (Jill) of Canton, SD; her brother Paul Severson (Karen) of Canton, SD; her sister-in-law Evelyn Severson of Platte, SD; and her close friend Harold Simunek. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
