It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris M. Scharf (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on January 22, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhardt Langholz and Esther Langholz (Heiser); her great grandchild Ensley Ann Swenson-Stahl; and her sisters, Gladys Mettler and Betty Heer.
She is survived by: her husband Hap; her children, Doreen Hanson (Roger), Butch Scharf (Kathy), Donald Scharf, Lisa Swenson (Mark) and Patrick Scharf (Ying "Katherine" Li); her grandchildren, Matthew Hanson (Danica), Hope Werlinger (Brian), Alysia Juhl (Matt), Genna Swenson, Aaron Swenson, Bailey Swenson and Jessica Li; and her great grandchildren, Logan Vogel, Cole Hanson, Jace Hanson, Hayden Werlinger, Addilyn Mae Werlinger, Dominic Juhl, Morgan Swenson, Aiden Juhl, Danika Juhl, Ashlynn Swenson, Bradon Tucker, Colin Christensen, Devin Christensen and Jaxyn Perratt. She is also survived by her five children and many grandchildren.
