It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Elaine Pontius of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Honsey and Arla Honsey (Lagerquist); her husband John Pontius; her stepfather Alfred Abrahamson; and her siblings, Leonard, Harvey, Glenn Honsey and Faye Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Bradley Pontius of Boulder, CO and Shannon Graber (Dan) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Alina, Elise Pontius, Annika and Grant Graber; her half-brother John Abrahamson; and her sister-in-law Clarice Honsey. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
