She is survived by: her children, Mike Dertien (Darla) of Sioux Falls, SD, Donna Dertien of Las Vegas, NV and Curtis Dertien (Deanna) of Platte, SD; her grandchildren, Thomey Dertien (Destiny Zoss) of Sioux Falls, SD, Brooklyn Dertien of Sioux Falls, SD, Levi Dertien of Sioux Falls, SD, Denise Dertien of Williamsburg, VA and Rick Dertien of Platte, SD; her great grandchildren, Bentley Dertien of Sioux Falls, SD and Polly Dertien of Sioux Falls, SD; her brothers, Ted Verba (Joan) of Plainfield, CT and Steve Verba (Marlys) of Sterling, AK; and her sisters-in-law, Sandy Breukelman of Green Bay, WI and Dolly Kooima of Spirit Lake, IA.
