It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doretta L. Helgerson (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Presho, South Dakota, who passed away on October 8, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Cramer and Rose Cramer (Dircks); her brothers, Ron Cramer (Gerry) of Volga, SD, Bernard, Lyman and Albert Henry; and her parents-in-law, Carl and Elsie Helgerson.
She is survived by: her son Terry (Lois); her grandson Paul (Kim); her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Jessa and John Helgerson (Beth); her granddaughter Sara Christians; her great grandchildren, Jackson Garnes of Sioux Falls, Abraham of Sioux Falls and Hope Christians of Sioux Falls; her sister Diane Cramer; her aunt Verna Schmitt of Sioux Falls; and also, Abigail, Isabella and Samuel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society or Our Saviors Lutheran Church Youth Ministries.
