She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Pronk and Lydia Pronk (Evink); and her siblings, Garv Pronk (Bobette) and Darlene Gehring (Bruce). She is survived by: her siblings, Leota and Worthington; her husband Doug Van Roekel; her children, Denae Klinkenborg (Van Roekel) of Dell Rapids, SD and Dana Van Roekel of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandson Mitchell Klinkenborg of Dell Rapids, SD; and her great grandchild Malakai Klinkenborg.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Reformed Church (4800 S Tomar Rd, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).
