He is survived by: his children, Victor and Frances Szymik (Chariton) of Park Falls; his wife Beatrice Louise Gear; his daughter Dawn Szymik (Jim Gilbertson) of Sioux Falls, SD; his friend Msgr; his daughters, Monica Wester of Garrison, MN, Diane Peterson of Rosemount, MN, Karla Stewart (Lee) of Eagan, MN and Roxana Bruins of New Hope, MN; his stepdaughter Deborah Horan of Sioux Falls, SD; his goddaughter Delaney Horan; his grandchildren, Christopher Stanger of Sarasota, FL, Marvin Peterson III of Minneapolis, MN, Shelby Ablan of Vadnais Heights, MN, Trevor Feenstra of Anoka, MN, Austin Feenstra of Golden Valley, MN, Chase Feenstra of New Hope, MN, Grace of New Hope, MN, Jeremiah of New Hope, MN and Matthew Bruins of New Hope, MN; his stepgrandchildren, Brennen of Sioux Falls, SD, Talon of Sioux Falls, SD, Delaney of Sioux Falls, SD and Raina Horan of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Jerome Szymik of Butternut, WI, Carol Slack of Eagle River, WI, Patricia Radlinger, Jr. (George) of Butternut, WI and Robert Szymik (Sally) of Butternut, WI; and his siblings-in-law, James Wirkus of Cottage Grove, MN, Kathleen Christensen (Jeff) of Stillwater, MN, Kimberly Lambert of Roseville, MN, Linda Szymik of Butternut, WI and Cheryl Szymik of Park Falls, WI. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.
