He is survived by: his wife Arlene Johnson; his children, JoLynn Hovaldt (Sheldon), LaDonna Ricketts (Steve), Michael Hoek and John Hoek (Brenda); his grandchildren, Stephanie Veltkamp (Ben), Stacy Krall (Steve), Jeremy Spain (Lauren), Jeffrey Spain, Nicole Rath (Steve), Tash Hoek (Mike Saul) and Ashlee Ricketts; his brother Edward Hoek; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Hoek of Winfred, SD. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
