It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Joseph Baatz of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Peter and Loretta Baatz; his children, Donald, Richard, James Dennis, Patricia Colbjornsen (Ted) and Mary Ann Hornig (William); his adoptive son Steve Baatz; his wife Velda Baatz; his son Steven Baatz; his sister-in-law Alice Engverson; and his cousin Melvin Hahn. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
