We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2020, at the age of 94, Donald James Walton (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Winnetoon, Nebraska passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald James Walton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Walton and Adeline Walton (Janna); his brothers, Loren, Ivan and Merlyn; his niece Susan; his grandson Timothy Thompson; and his children-in-law, Grayling Andersen and Cathy Walton.

He is survived by: his wife Ruby Ickler; his children, Donnie, Susan, Judy (Gary) of Sioux Falls, SD and Gary (Charity) of Rapid City, SD; his grandson Tim; his son Don (Jean) of Asheville, NC; and his grandchildren, Angie (Mark Gleason), Michelle (Darren Cady), Shane (Karen Andersen), Shari (Mary Anderson-Connor), Melissa (Scott Plemmons), Cindy (Rick Watson), Brandon Walton of Rapid City, SD, Brad (Brenda Walton) and Colombia. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19, there will be strict guidelines of no more than 10 people at a time for the viewing and funeral.

In lieu of flowers, any donations would be welcome to the Plainview Social Center or the Plainview United Methodist Church.
