He is survived by: his wife Mary Burggraff of Sioux Falls, SD; his sisters, Marian Plagge of Sioux Falls, SD and LaVonne Rose of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings-in-law, Anne Moritz of Azusa, CA, Sally Gilbertson (Milo) and Joe Schartz of Hartford, SD; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Schartz (Linda), Jeanita Erickson (Dale), Pat Pearson (Bill), Susan Tjeerdsma (Virgil), Paul Schartz, Scott Schartz (Gayle), Sheila Vis (Kelly), Janet Swier (Craig), Glen Gilbertson (Chelle), Marty Gilbertson (Teresa), Neil Gilbertson, Gary Gilbertson (Jodi), Diane Chagnon (Keith), David Moritz (Tamsen), Douglas Moritz (Heather), Kevin Knichrehm, Patricia Ziccarelli (Todd) and Colleen Graves (Bret). He is also survived by 30 great-nieces and nephews; 18 great-great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
