With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Cohoon (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on April 5, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Cohoon and Margaret Cohoon (Bartle); his stepdaughter Cheryl Haensel; and his siblings, Delbert Cohoon and Virginia Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Haensel; his children, Allan Cohoon (Holly), Dennis Cohoon (Beverly), Denise Link (Jim), Nancy Gay, Rita Nelson (Steve) and Larry Cohoon (Ida); and his stepchildren, Jerry Haensel (Janel), Diann Schoenfelder (Kevin) and John Haensel (Kim). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
