He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Haffner and Mary Haffner (Twohig); his daughters, Anita and Lana; and his siblings, Leo McChesney, Edwin Haffner, Marvin Haffner, Maxine Bly, Bessie Smith and Eva Crichton.
He is survived by: his wife Artilda Block; his children, April Kelling (Jason) of Sioux Falls and Don Haffner Jr.; his grandchildren, Derek Haffner (Cierra), Drew Haffner (Brianna), Logan Kelling and Lana Kelling; and his siblings, Guy Haffner (Barb) of Delaware and Rose Thuringer (Jim) of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials in Don's name be directed to the Wild Flower Presbyterian Church.
