He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Mennis and Ole Mennis; his sister Shirley Yesda; his brother-in-law Kenny Yesda; his nephew Greg Yesda; and his great-nephew Jeremy Swartz.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Mennis of Sioux Falls and Jenn Skalko (Nick) of Shakopee; his stepdaughter Tonya of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Tyler Olson, Reanna Mennis, Kenzie Skalko, Natalie Schatz, Logan Schatz, Grayson Skalko and Noah Skalko; his wife Mary Ann Mennis; and his family Elvis.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at 4:00 PM and on Monday, May 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Anderson Jones Corcoran Harrisburg Chapel (110 E Willow St, Harrisburg, SD 57032). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 27th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
