She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Vilhauer and Helen A. Vilhauer (Fode); and her brother Darvin. She is survived by: her significant other Burl "Sam" Spaid; her daughter Penni Spaid (Theresa M. Zaske) of Balaton, MN; and her stepchildren, Matthew Spaid (Jeane) of Yucaipa, CA and Megan Spaid.
