We bid farewell to Delores (Meyer) Miesen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Faulkton, South Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2024 at the age of 93. Delores touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Meyer and Bertha Meyer (Wortman); her husband Albert Miesen; and her siblings, Nadine, Bill and Harlan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Coover (Dan), Betty Haufschild (Don), Pat Schilling (Dan), Terrie, Jackie Fiegen (Jeff) and Mary Schneider (Dave). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hyke Funeral Home (101 E 7th Ave, Redfield, SD 57469). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Redfield - St. Bernard Catholic Church (217 E 6th Ave, Redfield, SD 57469).
