It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Esther Van Gelder of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Parker, South Dakota, who passed away on June 24, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rogers and Lilly Rogers (Allen); her husband Ralph Van Gelder; her granddaughter Jaci Thompson; her stepgrandson Tony; and her sister Gladys Begeman.
She is survived by: her children, Rindy Thompson (Terry), Lori McCain (Jerome) and Lonnie Van Gelder (Ruth) of Hartford, SD.; her granddaughter Kylah Jellema (Wade) of Hills, MN; her stepgrandchildren, Nicole and Austin Buskohl (Jen); her great grandchild Gabriel Tsadik; and her siblings, Joan Brown (Gerald) of Humboldt, SD and William Rogers (Rose).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to First Reformed Church in Sioux Falls or Ava's House Hospice Care in Sioux Falls.
