He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrol Hamilton and Laura Hamilton (Zachow); his wife Leora; his brothers, Elvin, Richard (Janice) and Lester; and his sisters-in-law, Loraine Hamilton and Doris Hamilton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Angeline Van Wyhe (Phillip) of Hawarden, Wayne of Alcester and Jack of Sioux Falls; his sister-in-law Pat Hamilton of Hawarden; and his close friends, Mike and Marlene Hettinger of Mitchell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
