David Rush Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Rush of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Flandreau, South Dakota, who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Rush and Evelyn M. Rush (Valentine); and his nephew Joseph Rush. He is survived by: his siblings, James Rush (Ann) of Omaha, Margaret Rush of Sioux Falls, Jack Rush (Gayle) of Philip, Val Rush (Teresa) of Sioux Falls, Mary Jane Hover (Brad) of Kansas City and Richard "Dick" Rush of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
After he entered the Good Samaritan Center in Sioux Falls and the covid-19 pandemic hit, he was not able to attend the functions he liked, but he was able to get out three times a week to take dialysis which he did not enjoy, but it did get him out of the nursing home. The siblings of David would like to thank the nursing staff, the doctors and everyone who cared for him during the covid-19 crisis and his time as a resident of the nursing home.
