He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Wise and Imogene Wise (Thomsen). He is survived by: his wife Jean Hanson of Sioux Falls; and his sisters, Denise Verhey (Gary) of Hartford, Patty Widmark (Barry) of Tea, Lisa Wise of Sioux Falls and Gail Johnson (Paul) of Sioux Falls.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
