He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Edwin, Hattie Olson, Hugo and Violet Steffen. He is survived by: his wife Kacie; his daughter Kendell; his parents, Lonnie Olson and Sharon Olson; his sisters, Shawna Adams (Rick) and Lisa Dostal (Randy); his nephews, Cody, Seth Campbell, Andrew and Nathan Dostal; his sister-in-law Sara Odden (Matt); and his nieces and nephews, Noah and Audrey. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Dale's name.
