He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Gabel and Hertha Gabel (Matthies); his wife Carol Arlene Keller; his brothers, Richard, Alvin and Wayne Gabel; and his son-in-law Rich Graves.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Weeldreyer (Bruce), Dale D. Gabel (Linda), Denise Richter (Steve), Donna Olsen (Dale), David Gabel (Renee) and Doreen Graves. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
