He was predeceased by: his brother Darrel (Anna). He is survived by: his wife Adeline of Centerville; and his sons, Dan of Sioux Falls and Dave (Linda) of Sioux Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Boys Scouts of America or Angel Lee Cronen Fund.
