She is survived by: her children, Christopher Hofer of Camano Island, WA and Cathy Mendel (Brad) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Hannah Jo Mendel, Samuel Luke Mendel and Gabriela Ann Hofer; her siblings, Dennis Thies (Connie) of Pittsfield, ME, Mike Thies (Carol) of Fairview, SD, Brian Thies (Judy) of Hot Springs, SD, Jim Thies of Boise, ID, Bob Thies of Minneapolis, MN and Cindy Thies of Camano Island, WA; and her brother-in-law Bruce Hofer of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
