He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronald Wingert and Elaine Wingert (Varns); his spouse Laurie Christensen; his uncle Chuck Charlie; his siblings, Sue Widrig, Ann Johnson, Janet McKenzie (Mike), Nancy Seaman (Ron), Sharon Simonson, Julie Wingert (Paul McCollar), Jenifer Antrim (Todd), Christine Johnson (Brad) and Tom (Mary); his brother-in-law Deral Rogers; his sister Linda Rogers; and his brothers-in-law, Vern Widrig, Bobby Johnson and Brian Simonson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (901 N Tahoe Trail, Sioux Falls, SD 57110).
