He is survived by: his former wife Donna L. Smith; his wife Janice Boyum Tieszen of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Julie Braaten (Alan) of Canton, SD, David Tieszen (Georgea), Cathy Mastalir (Bruce) and Sara Paschal (Jesse); his grandchildren, Matthew Braaten (Jessica), Rebecca Carter (Kris), Mandy Fox (James), Leann Koele (Michael), Kelly Murphy, Alex Mastalir, Rachel Mastalir, Pierce Mastalir, Donna Brown (Dustin), Elizabeth Paschal and Jessica Paschal; his great grandchildren, Connor, Cooper, Alyssa (Jake), Alex, Jayden, Jessica, Raevyn and Marissa; his brother Jim Tieszen (Renee) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his sister-in-law Beverly Tieszen of Billings, MT. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
