Charl Wendt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2025, at the age of 89, Charl Wendt of Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charl Wendt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Berniece Bengtson and Ernst Haberman. She is survived by: her children, Debra Klebanoff (Peter), Pamela Carmichael (JC), Kimberly Johnson (Kevin) and Mark Wendt; her grandchildren, Dakota (Anna), Chance (Savannah Siefkes), Briar DeHaven (Jacob Ballard), Ryder Carmichael, Taylor Carmichael Johnson (Chris), Emily and Ella Wendt; her great grandchildren, Henry, Lulu DeHaven, August and Bowie Ballard; her husband Orrin Wendt; her cousin Kay Maronde; and her half-brother Craig Myers.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be directed to the Dougherty House Hospice where Charl volunteered for so many years and found her own peace and care in her final days.
