She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Turnis and Teresa Turnis (Grimm); her husband Steve Bohnenkamp; her granddaughter Aubrey; her sisters, Judy Turnis and Myrna Kauer (Robert); and her pet Mazie.
She is survived by: her former husband Larry Swanson; her children, Jeffrey Swanson of Milwaukee, WI, Shelly Griffith (Rob) of Thornton, CO, Leah Puhrmann (Jeremy) of Paullina, IA, Cheri Westendorf (Steve) of Piedmont, SD, Lori Baum (Ben) of Magnolia, MN and Dawn Lowman of Dell Rapids, SD; and her great grandchild Molly. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
