It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine D. Liesinger of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sr. Pesicka and Viola Pesicka (Barnhart); her husband Merrill Liesinger; her sister Shirlene Heffele (Richard); her son-in-law Mark Willaredt; and her nephew James Wallenstein.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Ihnen (Alan) of Sioux Falls, Cliff Liesinger (Denise) of Sioux Falls and Teresa Wilka (Joel Cape) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Catherine Pesicka, Jonathan Willaredt, Cassandra Lofswold (Chris) and Courtney Johnson (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Garrett Willaredt and Sophia Lofswold; and her siblings, Pam Stoops (Mike) of Sioux Falls, Fanny Spielman of Sioux Falls, Pat Mulroy (Bill) of Beresford, Mike Pesicka (Sheila) of Sioux Falls and George Pesicka Jr. of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by grandma; niece.
