It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol J. Okrina of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Marshall, Minnesota, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Selmer Erickson and Amanda Erickson (Stensrud). She is survived by: her husband Marvin Okrina; her sons, Bradley (Carla) of Omaha, NE and Kerry of Sioux Falls, SD; and her grandchildren, Samuel Okrina (Meghan) of Omaha, NE, Katie Okrina (Jim Myshock), Benjamin Okrina of Sioux Falls, SD, Whitney Boyda of Garretson, SD and Rachel Tams of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; five sister-in-laws; three brother-in-laws; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may take the form of donations in Carol's name to: American Cancer Society-Cancer Support Group, and St. John American Lutheran Church.
