He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin and Ella (Neifer); and his sister-in-law Marie. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Steffen of Sioux; his son Steve; his grandchildren, Carol Overby (Jason) of Brookings, SD, Ellen, Sharon Voss (Keith) of Sioux Falls, Jeff, Madison, Tanner and Kylie; his brother James; and his grandchildren, Cary and Gary (Sally). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
