He is survived by: his mother Berniece Barstad (Noralf) of Brandon, SD; his children, Austin (Kali) and Loghan; his siblings, Burdell Jansma (Tylene) of Beaver Creek, MN, Barb Niessink (Greg), Brandon Rip and Beth Rip (Brad); his grandchildren, Lincoln and Liam; and his friend Darren Nelson. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
