We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2020, at the age of 83, Bette J. Mathis of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Mason City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Honken and Avis Honken (Johnson); her former husband Garth Ervin; and her brothers, Don Honken and Jerry Honken.
She is survived by: her husband John; and her children, Sean Ervin (Patrice), Erin Frost (Jim), Dana Leners (Rich) and Kira McKenna. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Bette's family requests that memorials be directed to Avera Hospice in Sioux Falls.
