She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Pietz and Lydia Pietz (Schneider); her daughter Karen Wermers (Wayne); and her siblings, Ester Konstanz (Pietz), Benjamin Pietz, Alvin Pietz, Leontina Ulmer and Hilda Roth.
She is survived by: her daughter Barb Villmow (Allen) of Delmont, SD; her granddaughter Stephanie Preheim (Dustin); her children, Hannah, Austin and Leah of Sioux Falls, SD; her granddaughter Melanie Hericks (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Mason and Ethan of Sioux Falls, SD; her son-in-law Wayne Wermers of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandson Bryan Wermers (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Emerson and Alexa of Sioux Falls, SD; and her grandson Bryce Wermers of Sioux Falls, SD..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery (1400 S Duluth Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57105).
