He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Borden and Doris Borden (Morgans); his son Brian Borden; his sisters, Sharon Sahli and Sally Borden; his father-in-law John Katzenberger; and his sister-in-law Lynne Swenson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Borden of Sioux Falls, SD; his son Brad Borden of Brookings, SD; his sister Vickie Borden of Lakewood, CO; his brother-in-law Jerry Sahli of Minot, ND; his mother-in-law Darlene Katzenberger of Sioux Falls, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Reuwsaat (Rich) of Sioux Falls, SD, Lori McCoy (Mike) of Sioux Falls, SD and Tim Katzenberger (Teri) of Sioux Falls, SD.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A wake will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Lambert Catholic Church (1000 S Bahnson Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
