He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Kruse (Schwantes) and Wabasso; his wife Audrey Marie Bangerter; his son Craig; and his brothers, Donald, Norman and Gordon Kruse.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary (Ramona), Brad (Mary Jo), Patrick (Cheryl), Scott (Nancy) and Paul (Laurie); his daughter-in-law Jane Kruse of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jake, Jeremy, Adam, Sarah, Jon, Nicholas, Ryan, Steven, Andrew, Benjamin, Allison, Brock, Jason, Tiffany, Nicole, Christopher, Kayla, Jordanna and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Elliot, Reece, Connor, Maxwell, Alex, Nolan, Landon, Mabel, Braxton, Brynn, Jackson, Nathaniel, Audra, Owen, Gavin, Stella, Beckett, Cash and Paxton; and his sister Mary Lou Kruse of Belle Plaine, MN. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the First English Lutheran Church Building Fund.
