She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Sundby and Clara Sundby (Sigrud); her husband Jackie "Jack" Broadbent; her son Jackie Jr.; her brothers, Selmer (Peggy), Don (Norma) and Lester Sundby (Ardell); and her brother-in-law Ken Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Broadbent of Sioux Falls, Susan Broadbent of Sioux Falls, Thomas Broadbent (Cindy) of Sioux Falls and Russell Broadbent (Karla) of Ozark, Missouri; her sisters, Leone Thompson of Omaha and Doris Backes of Bloomington, Minnesota; her sister-in-law Connie Flemming (Paul) of Florence; and her grandchildren, Christopher Broadbent (Megan) of Sioux Falls, Rebecca Fritz (Austin) of Sioux Falls and Ethan Robinett of Missouri.
