He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Klaassen and Bernice Klaassen (Bonk); his brother Marlyn Klaassen; and his daughter Aljean Klaassen. He is survived by: his wife Jean Klaassen; his daughters, Kayleen McCann (Marvin) and Karla Widness (Dave); his granddaughters, Kalli Gazzano (Taylor) and Kylar McCann (Dakota Vaughn); and his great grandchild Korbyn Gazzano.
The last 2 years of their marriage they were unable to be together due to the pandemic, but the last time they celebrated their anniversary, Jean commented that the happiest day of her life was when they were united in marriage.
