He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerome Haiar and Stella Haiar (Koster) of Mitchell, SD; his former wife Donna Schuster; his wife Marilyn Haiar of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Nicholas Haiar of Sioux Falls, SD and Jackie Prostrollo (Alex) of Sioux Falls, SD; his stepsons, Michael Menholt of Sioux Falls, SD and Eric Menholt (Rachel) of Jacksonville, NC; his grandchildren, Nora, Oliver, Anthony and Eddy; his siblings, Linda Picek (Jim) of Mitchell, SD, Karen George (Doug) of Mitchell, SD, Carol Byrd (Tim) of Tea, SD, Brian Haiar (Donna) of Alexandria, SD, Brad Haiar (Lisa) of Fulton, SD and Craig Haiar (Jennifer) of Mitchell, SD; his close friend Ray Neuroth of Sioux Falls, SD; and his brother Dean Haiar.
