It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Dean Hansen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Akron, Iowa, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte "Char" Lohr of Randall's Super Value; his parents, Mahlon Hansen and Lenora Hansen; his stepgranddaughter Josephine; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Lausen (Charles), Donna Borns (Virgil), Mable Noeldner (Orville), Darlene Becker (Russell), Marvin Ries, LeRoy Lohr and Chet Lohr.
He is survived by: his friend Char; his children, Jeff Hansen (Stacy) of Yankton, SD, Kim Hansen of Sioux Falls, SD and John Hansen (Mindi) of Baltic, SD; his grandson Zane Hansen of Sioux Falls, SD; his stepgrandchildren, Brian Linton of Baltic, SD, Jessica Winterringer of Vermillion, SD, Kennedy Winterringer of Harrisburg, SD and Miranda Winterringer of Sioux Falls, SD; his sisters, Arla Lohr of Inman, SC and Ava Tucker (Don) of Yankton, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Ries of Sioux Falls, SD and Allen Lohr of Sioux Falls, SD..
