She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Malmind and Hilda Malmind (Jacobson); her husband William Kruse; her son-in-law Jim Gulbranson; and her siblings, Gorman, Milton Malmind and Dorothy Talbert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alice, Kim Gulbranson of Paynesville, MN, Nancy Kruse Oas (Dana) of Harrisburg, SD and Sandra Hamman (Phil) of Sioux City, IA; her grandchildren, James Gulbranson, Jordan Hamman and Angela Houser (Jason); her great grandchildren, JD, Max, Thor Gulbranson, William, Thomas, Isabella Hamman and Monet Houser; and her brother Jon Malmind (Pat) of Jacksonville, FL.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the East Side Lutheran Church (1300 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
Alice's family requests that memorials be directed to the East Side Lutheran Church or the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum.
