He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harley Barber and Mary Barber (Wagner); his former wife Ruth Carlson (Carlson); his wife Phyllis Cowley (Dannenbring); his daughters, Patricia Barber of Huntsville, AL and Lori Karsten (Robert) of Sioux Falls, SD; his granddaughter Katie Cowley Friedman (Greg) of Las Vegas, NV; his daughter-in-law Susan Cowley-Stocks (Dan) of Hamilton, MT; his niece Vicki Sievers (Mike) of Sioux Falls, SD; his sons, Gary Barber and David Cowley; and his sisters, Betty Pascoe, Arlene Barber and Nancy Coleman.
