He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Klaudt and Josephine Klaudt; his wife Sally of Sioux Falls; his children, Rhea Kontos, Carl Klaudt (Lori), Ali Langseth of Sioux Falls, Karen Kennedy (Shawn) of Baltic, Renee Hardester (Bruce) of Papillion, NE, Jeannie McCarthy (Mick) of Omaha, NE and Mary Jo O'Bryan (Larry) of Seaford, VA; his grandchildren, Devin, Cody (Malia), Tea, Andrew, Tom, Dalan, Autumn, Corrinne, Christy, Emily, Anna, Madison and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Ashton, Owen and Easton; and his brother James Klaudt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Avera Prairie Cancer Center or Dougherty Hospice House.
