Alan Stanga Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2021, at the age of 83, Alan Stanga of Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stanga and Violet Stanga (Currier); his stepmother Blanche Osterberg; his siblings, Phyllis Knudson, Ted Stanga (Carol) and Don Stanga; his son-in-law Bruce Scholl; and his siblings-in-law, Burnell Knudson and Elaine Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Arlys Pearson of Sioux Falls; his daughter Angela; his grandson Douglas; his children, Patty Scholl, Angie Hitterdal (Tim) and Doug Stanga (Heather); his grandchildren, Christopher Krumvieda, Christian, Corrina Scholl, Anna Horner (Kevin), Erika Kasel (Jaden), Brooke and Luke Stanga; his great grandchild Korra Scholl; and his sister-in-law Marlys Stanga Haslow. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials gifts may be directed to the South Dakota High School Honor Choir Endowment, held at the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation.
